Al-Sudani Stresses Urgency of Completing Key Projects in Diwaniyah


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani emphasized the urgent need to complete projects that significantly impact the daily lives of citizens.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s media office noted that al-Sudani met with Diwaniyah Governor Abbas Shuail al-Zamili and Provincial Council Chairman Mohammed Shakheer Farhoud on Saturday. The meeting focused on assessing the service and living conditions within the governorate, as well as evaluating the progress of ongoing service projects.



The discussions involved a detailed review of implementation rates, prioritization in project selection, performance of the companies involved, and the primary obstacles hindering the completion of these projects. Al-Sudani highlighted the critical nature of finishing projects that directly affect citizens, emphasizing their role in enhancing the investment environment, creating job opportunities, and stimulating the local economy.



Additionally, al-Sudani reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting private sector initiatives and urged the governorate’s agencies to provide the necessary facilitation for these projects, underscoring their significance in regional development.
