Basra: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has emphasized that his visit to the Sultanate of Oman is focused on elevating the level of partnership between the two nations across all sectors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani, in a press statement prior to his departure, announced the signing of several memoranda of understanding with Oman, highlighting the Sultanate’s role in advancing Iraq’s reconstruction efforts.

He further elaborated that Iraq is now an attractive environment for investment, presenting regional countries with numerous opportunities to invest. Al-Sudani also noted that Iraq serves as a critical pillar for regional stability, underscoring its importance in fostering peace and development in the region.
