New York:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian have emphasized the need for cooperative efforts to tackle regional challenges and ensure security and stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the leaders met on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. They discussed recent regional developments and highlighted the significance of coordinated strategies to prevent escalation and avert further tensions and crises.

The meeting underscored their mutual interest in fortifying regional security through collaborative approaches, as outlined in a statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office.
