Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and Ammar al-Hakim, leader of the National Wisdom Movement, underscored the necessity of aligning positions and perspectives to finalize the government formation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office released a statement following a meeting between al-Zaidi and al-Hakim on Wednesday. The discussion focused on the country’s current situation and the role of national political forces in bolstering government plans. These plans aim to achieve reform, combat corruption, and enhance security and stability nationwide.

Al-Zaidi and al-Hakim highlighted the significance of unifying positions and visions to complete the government formation based on criteria of competence and integrity. This approach, they stressed, would empower the government to address challenges and execute its program for comprehensive development, ensuring the interests of all Iraqis are safeguarded.
