Baghdad: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, has issued an order appointing Lieutenant General Mohammed Qasim al-Fahd as Commander of the Federal Police.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Fahd previously served as Commander of the Special Division responsible for the Green Zone. His experience also includes serving as Chief of Staff of the Federal Police Command.
