Baghdad: The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Nu’man, announced that the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Falih al-Zaidi, has appointed Major General Ali Abdul Hussein Kadhim as the commander of operations in Maysan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this appointment marks a significant move in the leadership of military operations in the region. Major General Kadhim’s new role involves overseeing military strategies and ensuring security in Maysan, a province that has been pivotal in the country’s operational command structure.
