Baghdad:Al-Nuaman Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ali Al-Zaidi will assume the duties of heading the Intelligence Service from a direct, hands-on position.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this development was confirmed by Sabah Al-Nuaman, the spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Al-Nuaman stated that the decision was made following a visit by Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi to the headquarters of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service.

The move comes as part of a strategy to address current challenges and is aligned with the broader plan to achieve full sovereignty for the nation.
