Baghdad: President of the Republic Nizar Amedi and Speaker of Parliament Haibat Al-Halbousi emphasized the importance of cooperation to enhance integration in institutional work. A meeting held in Baghdad also included the presence of Minister of Justice Khalid Shwani.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting underscored the importance of cooperation between the Presidency of the Republic and the Parliament to foster institutional integration. Discussions also covered legislative coordination and the importance of finalizing laws relevant to citizens’ lives and interests, thereby establishing appropriate legal frameworks to address their needs and issues affecting their daily lives.

The meeting also addressed the general situation in the country and developments on the national stage, as well as a number of files and issues requiring continued cooperation and mutual understanding among state institutions.
