Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, has made a public appeal for the empowerment of Iraq’s youth and the creation of job opportunities for them. He emphasized the critical role of activating the private sector to harness young talent effectively.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim met with Yasser al-Maliki, head of the State of Law parliamentary bloc, to discuss recent political developments in Iraq and the broader region. During the meeting, al-Hakim stressed the importance of maintaining national unity and strengthening national cohesion to address current challenges.

Al-Hakim highlighted the youthful demographic of Iraqi society and reiterated the need for initiatives aimed at youth empowerment and job creation. He underscored the significance of engaging the private sector to provide platforms for young professionals.

Furthermore, al-Hakim expressed his continuous support for Ali al-Zaidi’s government and its reform agenda. He particularly endorsed efforts in combating corruption and the project aimed at limiting weapons to state control, advocating for progress through dialogue and mutual understanding.
