Diyala: A student died from electrocution in his home east of Baquba, the capital of Diyala Governorate. According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police source reported that a middle school student was electrocuted inside his home in the Kanaan district east of Baquba, resulting in his immediate death.

The source added that the body was transferred to the forensic medicine department. Security forces have opened an investigation into the incident.
