Anbar: The Governor of Anbar, Omar Mishaan Dabbous, held a meeting with Minister of Water Resources, Muthanna Ali al-Tamimi, to discuss strategies for advancing the province's water infrastructure and improving water security.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions led to an agreement to increase water releases to Lake Habbaniyah by 30 cubic meters per second. The meeting also covered plans to develop riverbanks and enhance dredging operations in the Warar Canal. These measures aim to support several sectors in Anbar, including environmental conservation, agriculture, and tourism.
