Ansar Allah Reports Casualties in Israeli Raids on Newspaper Headquarters in Sana’a

Sana’a: The Yemeni Ansar Allah group announced today that the death toll from Israeli raids targeting the headquarters of a newspaper affiliated with the group’s Ministry of Defense in Sana’a last week has risen to 53 dead and wounded.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the “September 26” newspaper, affiliated with the Moral Guidance Department of the Ministry of Defense in the Ansar Allah government, issued a statement through the Yemeni News Agency “Saba.” The statement mourned the loss of 31 journalists who were martyred due to the Israeli aggression that led to the newspaper’s complete destruction. Additionally, 22 journalists were wounded, and there were further casualties among civilians.

The newspaper condemned the attacks, stating that the targeting of media outlets and workers by Israeli forces is an indication of their attempts to destabilize the country. They described the actions as efforts to silence voices that reveal their crimes and the reality of the ongoing conflict.

Furthermore, the newspaper appealed to the United Nations, the Security Council, and various humanitarian and human rights organizations, along with media unions and syndicates, to denounce the aggression. They hold Israel accountable for the consequences of this and other crimes, asserting that Israel will ultimately face repercussions for its actions.
