Baghdad: The Yemeni armed forces affiliated with the Ansar Allah group announced today, Tuesday, that they “targeted Ben Gurion Airport in the Jaffa area of central Israel with a hypersonic ballistic missile.” Ansar Allah’s armed forces Spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said that “the missile successfully achieved its target, causing a mass exodus to shelters and halting airport operations for about an hour.”
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Saree affirmed that “the operation confirms the continued ban on navigation at Ben Gurion Airport,” calling on companies that have not announced a halt to their flights to follow suit. The statement added, “The support operations, the ban on air navigation at Israeli airports, and the ban on Israeli maritime navigation will cease with the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the siege on the Gaza Strip.”
