Diwaniyah: Diwaniyah Governor Abbas al-Zamili announced that the Minister of Water Resources has approved an increase in the water allocation for rice cultivation areas, which cover 125,000 dunams across the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Zamili stated that the local government, in coordination with relevant authorities in Baghdad, is working to ensure the success of the summer rice cultivation season.
