Baghdad: The Arab League has officially confirmed the success of the 34th session of the Arab Summit, which was hosted in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hossam Zaki, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, stated that all Arab countries represented in the current session attended the summit meetings in the Iraqi capital. He emphasized that the decisions made during the summit were beneficial to Arab political and developmental action.

Zaki further elaborated on the positive atmosphere surrounding the Baghdad Summit, highlighting that the decisions adopted were not only good but also implementable. He expressed complete satisfaction with the outcomes of the summit meetings and extended appreciation for the exceptional performance, organization, and efforts by the Iraqis, noting the extensive preparations made to host the event.

Addressing concerns about the execution of the summit’s decisions, Zaki clarified that misunderstandings exist regarding the implementation of the Arab League’s decisions. He explained that some decisions involve high political stakes, which may affect their implementation timeline, sometimes extending to years or until the next session. He asserted that this should not lead to the perception that the decisions are unimplementable, as all decisions are carried out for political or developmental purposes.
