Baghdad: The Arab Parliament has declared its firm solidarity with Iraq, condemning the recent attacks that have jeopardized its national sovereignty. The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yamahi, has emphasized the body's unwavering support for Iraq in light of these severe violations, which pose a significant threat to the nation's security, stability, and the well-being of its citizens.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a communication directed to the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Haibat Al-Halbousi, Al-Yamahi expressed the Arab Parliament's strong disapproval of these aggressions. He labeled them as attempts to undermine regional security and stability, as well as blatant breaches of United Nations principles and international law, which underscore the importance of respecting state sovereignty and non-interference in domestic matters.
Al-Yamahi further highlighted that these assaults present a direct danger to the security and stability of the region. He reiterated the Arab Parliament's commitment to supporting all measures that aim to uphold Iraq's sovereignty and territorial unity, while also fostering security and stability across the region.
