Arab Parliament Supports Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit Outcomes in Doha


Doha: The Arab Parliament welcomed the outcomes of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit hosted by Doha, emphasizing the unity of the Arab and Islamic ranks in addressing the challenges posed by the Israeli entity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi praised the outcomes of the summit, stating that they reflect the unified Arab and Islamic position in confronting the aggression carried out by the occupying entity against Qatar. The summit also rejected the ongoing war against the Palestinian people.

Al-Yamahi expressed appreciation for the final statement’s support for Qatar, highlighting rejection of any threats to its sovereignty or security. He emphasized the solidarity with Qatar in its response to aggression and commended the strong positions in the summit’s final statement, which express the collective will of Arab and Islamic countries to support the Palestinian people. He urged the international community to assume its responsibilities to stop th
e violence and hold the perpetrators accountable.

He reaffirmed the Arab Parliament’s commitment to backing collective Arab and Islamic positions and its efforts in international forums to strengthen these outcomes, particularly supporting the Palestinian cause and the sovereignty and security of Qatar and other Arab and Islamic countries.
