Araghchi Highlights Uncertainty Over Upcoming US-Iran Negotiations

Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that although a date has been proposed for the fifth round of indirect nuclear negotiations with the United States, Tehran has not yet agreed to it, and the proposal is still under consideration.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araghchi made these remarks during a statement to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency. The statement was given on the sidelines of a ceremony commemorating the first anniversary of the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his companions in a helicopter crash. Araghchi noted that there is a state of "tension" regarding the timing and location of the upcoming negotiations.
