Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated on Tuesday that discussions aiming for a conclusive agreement between Tehran and Washington will not commence if US threats persist. This statement follows US President Donald Trump’s recent warning to “finish the job” should no agreement be finalized.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi emphasized his position via a Twitter post, asserting, “Negotiations on the final agreement will not begin if the threats continue. Respect your signature.” The ongoing tension between the two countries highlights the fragile nature of diplomatic negotiations, with both sides needing to consider their stance and approach to ensure progress.
