Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi denied reports of his new talks with US Special Representative Steve Witkoff. In an interview with the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, regarding some Western media reports that he had a conversation with Witkoff, Araqchi said, “This is not true.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi explained that messages are of course exchanged between Iran and the United States directly or through intermediaries when necessary. The minister added that no direct contact or conversation has taken place between Iran and the United States.
