Jeddah: Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, after concluding official talks with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, in Jeddah. Araqchi is partaking in the fourth round of the “Iranian-Arab Dialogue,” held in Doha under the theme “Strong Relations, Common Interests,” and engaging in bilateral discussions with senior Qatari officials.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his speech in Doha, Araqchi highlighted the necessity for enhanced understanding and solidarity within the region to tackle present challenges. He emphasized the significance of strengthening regional relations and achieving harmony between Arab countries and Iran, urging the countries of the region to unite against threats to their security and stability.

Araqchi also addressed the Palestinian issue, expressing concern over Israel’s actions, which he claimed have virtually eradicated the feasibility of a two-state solution and are aimed at displacing Palestinians. He called for increased Arab and Islamic solidarity in supporting the Palestinian cause, describing resistance to such aggressive actions as a moral obligation for regional governments.

On the topic of nuclear weapons, Araqchi reaffirmed Iran’s stance against nuclear armament, stating that acquiring nuclear weapons is forbidden. He assured that Iran would continue its discussions with the United States, China, and Europe in good faith, while maintaining its legitimate nuclear rights.

During his visit to Jeddah, Araqchi also engaged in comprehensive discussions on the indirect dialogue between Iran and the United States, as well as on regional and international issues concerning Gulf security and mutual interests.
