Najaf: The Governor of Najaf, Yousef Gnawi, welcomed the Armenian Ambassador to Iraq, Ruben Soghoyan, in a meeting focused on strengthening ties between the two regions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing joint cooperation in economic, tourism, and cultural sectors. Governor Gnawi expressed Najaf's readiness to embrace various initiatives that would boost the local economy and attract investments, ultimately benefiting the people of Najaf and fortifying bilateral relations.

Ambassador Soghoyan highlighted Armenia's interest in deepening cooperation with Najaf, acknowledging the governorate's significant historical and religious importance.
