Baghdad: The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, engaged in discussions today with General Kevin Leahy, the Commander of the International Coalition Forces in Iraq and Syria, focusing on strategies to bolster the Iraqi army’s capabilities.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Defense issued a statement detailing the meeting between Yarallah and General Leahy, along with his delegation. The dialogue centered on expanding cooperation and joint coordination in training, armament, and logistical support. This collaboration aims to develop military capabilities and address terrorist challenges, ensuring stability in Iraq and the surrounding region.
