Mosul: Security forces have apprehended a man suspected of executing numerous fraudulent operations targeting merchants in the city of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police source revealed that the suspect abused the trust of merchants to conduct fraudulent activities through different methods, resulting in substantial losses for some victims. The source further explained that preliminary investigations uncovered the suspect’s pattern of making false promises of business partnerships and then vanishing after collecting significant sums of money. The accused has now been referred to the judiciary for further legal proceedings.
