Diwaniyah: The Diwaniyah Crime Control Department successfully apprehended an individual accused of murdering his grandfather, less than 48 hours after the crime took place.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Diwaniyah Police Command revealed that the suspect shot his grandfather twice, resulting in his death. The motive behind this tragic incident was identified as personal disputes. Following the crime, the suspect attempted to flee and conceal his whereabouts.

The authorities further reported that the Crime Control Department efficiently tracked down and detained the suspect. During the investigation, the individual confessed to the crime, admitting that personal disputes were the cause of his actions. Legal proceedings have been initiated against him as part of the ongoing investigation.
