Washington: Axios reported today, Sunday, that talks between the United States and Iran are expected next Friday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the website quoted a US source as saying, “Talks between the United States and Iran are expected on Friday if Iran submits a proposal regarding the agreement within 48 hours.”

The source added that “Washington and Tehran may discuss the possibility of reaching an interim agreement before reaching a comprehensive nuclear agreement.”
