Babil: Babil Police have announced the arrest of two suspects accused of robbing an industrial workshop, along with the seizure of valuable stolen goods in Al-Kifl. A joint force from Al-Kifl Al-Nakhila Police Department and Al-Kifl/Nakhila Crime Control Office apprehended the suspects, who were allegedly involved in several robberies targeting an industrial workshop within the sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Media Director Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini stated that the operation was the result of a well-planned ambush. The suspects were caught red-handed while driving a Sattuta (three-wheel) vehicle. The police found and seized four electric generators, four Robin water pumps, two car batteries, and an air conditioner from the vehicle.

Brigadier General Al-Husseini further explained that initial investigations revealed the suspects confessed to committing five other robberies within their sector of responsibility. Their statements were confirmed by the judiciary, and the necessary legal measures have been taken against them. The suspects are now in preparation for referral to the judiciary to face charges.
