Babil: Within a few hours, Babil Governorate Police Command arrested six suspects involved in a brawl that occurred in Al-Mahawil district, stemming from previous disputes between cousins. The incident resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two others, one of whom sustained minor injuries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Director Major General Ali Al-Hasnawi announced that a joint task force was formed from the North Babil Crime Control Department, Al-Mahawil Police Department, and units from the Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate, in addition to the Technology and Information Department in Babil, with support from the elite forces of the Tactical Regiment.

Major General Al-Hasnawi stated that after obtaining the necessary judicial approvals and gathering and analyzing security information, the perpetrators' hiding places were identified, leading to their arrest in record time. The six suspects have had the necessary legal measures taken against them, and investigations are ongoing to uncover further details of the case.
