Babil: The Babil Provincial Council has announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, will be observed as an official holiday to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). This decision was made by the head of the council, Asaad al-Muslawi.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Muslawi stated that the holiday aims to facilitate the performance of the pilgrimage to Najaf, allowing participants to partake in the commemoration activities. The council’s decision underscores the significance of this event for the community.
