Baghdad: A force from Babylon Intelligence and Security arrested a wanted terrorist in Al-Amiriya area of Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babylon Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar Al-Shammari, stated that the operation was carried out after a meticulous intelligence operation that lasted for some time. During this period, information was gathered and analyzed, and the suspect’s movements were monitored in coordination with the relevant authorities. This effort led to the identification of the suspect’s location within Baghdad Governorate.

Colonel Al-Shammari added that legal procedures were taken against the suspect, who was subsequently placed in detention pending his referral to the judiciary.
