Babylon Police Arrest Nine Wanted Persons, Including a Premeditated Murder Accused


Babylon: The Babylon Police Command announced the implementation of a series of intensive security operations during the past twenty-four hours, which included various areas of the governorate and main checkpoints, in cooperation with other security agencies.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of Media for Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, stated that the operations resulted in the arrest of nine wanted individuals under various legal articles, including one person accused of committing premeditated murder, in accordance with the provisions of Article 406 of the Penal Code.



He further reported that during the operations, six violators of the laws were arrested, including four foreigners for violating the residency law. These operations are part of the ongoing efforts by the Babylon Police Command to enhance security and establish stability throughout the governorate.
