Manama: A suspect wanted for premeditated murder was apprehended at the Al-Hamza Al-Gharbi checkpoint by officials from the Checkpoints Affairs Department. The individual is accused under Article (406) of the Iraqi Penal Code.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, the Babylon Police Media Director, confirmed that initial investigations identified the suspect as the perpetrator of a crime that occurred approximately ten days ago. The incident involved the killing of his wife and father-in-law in Al-Hamza Al-Gharbi.

Brigadier General Al-Husseini further mentioned that all necessary legal procedures have been executed to ensure the suspect is brought to justice. The case is now set to be referred to the judiciary, where the suspect will face legal proceedings for his actions.
