Babil: Babil Governorate announced the suspension of official working hours on Wednesday and Thursday of next week in observance of the funeral of the martyred Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Babil Provincial Council stated in a press release that it has been decided to suspend official working hours on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, and Thursday, July 9, 2026. The suspension will not apply to security and service departments, which are expected to continue their operations as usual during these dates.
