Baghdad and Riyadh Set to Draft Memorandum of Understanding for Expertise Exchange


Baghdad: Baghdad Mayor Ammar Musa Kazim and Riyadh Mayor Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf have initiated discussions to draft a memorandum of understanding aimed at exchanging expertise.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Baghdad Municipality announced that Mayor Kazim met with Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, who also serves as the President of the Arab Urban Development Institute, during the Arab-European Cities Dialogue Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring cooperation avenues between the municipalities of Baghdad and Riyadh.



The statement further elaborated that the proposed memorandum of understanding between the two cities aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and experiences across various fields within the municipal and service sectors. This initiative is expected to strengthen communication frameworks and promote joint coordination with other Arab countries.
