Baghdad: The Independent High Electoral Commission has officially announced the results of the recent elections in Baghdad, revealing that the Reconstruction and Development Coalition has secured a leading position with 15 seats. Following closely behind, the Progress Party garnered 10 seats, while the State of Law Coalition obtained 9 seats.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the commission disclosed these results during a press conference, highlighting that voter turnout in Baghdad exceeded 48%. The distribution of seats among the various coalitions and parties is as follows: the Reconstruction and Development Coalition earned 15 seats, the Progress Party secured 10 seats, and the State of Law Coalition achieved 9 seats.

Further, the National State Forces Alliance, Sadiqun Movement, and Azm Iraq Alliance each secured 5 seats. Meanwhile, the Badr Organization, National Sovereignty Alliance - Legislation, and Iraqi Foundation Coalition each obtained 4 seats. The Rights Movement earned 3 seats, while Abshir Ya Iraq and Ishraqat Kanun each secured 1 seat.
