Baghdad: Baghdad International Airport resumed flights with Tehran and Mashhad international airports this morning, Friday, after Iranian authorities temporarily closed the country’s airspace for several hours due to military exercises conducted the previous evening.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the temporary closure of Iranian airspace had impacted flight schedules, causing disruptions for passengers traveling between these major cities. The military exercises, which necessitated the airspace closure, were conducted to enhance regional security measures.
