Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command announced today the arrest of 68 suspects during a wide-scale security operation carried out in Al-Kifah and Al-Nahrawan areas on the Rusafa side of the capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the command stated that its forces “continued field campaigns as part of efforts to enforce the rule of law, deter violators, and pursue any activities that threaten security and public order.”

The statement further detailed that the operation led to the arrest of several individuals violating residency and nationality regulations. Additionally, suspects found with unlicensed weapons in their possession were apprehended.

The command emphasized that these measures are part of its ongoing plans to strengthen security, stability, and law enforcement across all areas of the capital.
