Baghdad: The detachments of the Baghdad Operations Command have successfully arrested several individuals accused under various legal articles across the Karkh and Rusafa regions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Joint Baghdad Operations Command reported that the arrests included individuals found with unauthorized items such as traffic registration plates and three drones. Additionally, others were detained for possessing unlicensed weapons and ammunition, and for promoting and using narcotic substances. During the operation, a number of weapons and ammunition were also seized.

The statement from the command revealed that these arrests were facilitated by the strategic installation of temporary surprise checkpoints on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa over the past 48 hours.
