Baghdad: The Baghdad Operations Command announced the security results of the joint detachments’ duties during the period from June 15 to July 6.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated in a press release: “The Baghdad Joint Operations Command detachments arrested a number of individuals accused of various legal offenses, including one impersonating an official (an officer). Others were found in possession of (56 Mastercard cards, 48 passports, 16 license plates, 20 badges, and 4 drones) without authorization. Unlicensed weapons and ammunition were also seized, in addition to impounding a number of vehicles and motorcycles violating traffic regulations.”
The statement further explained: “This comes as part of efforts to enhance security and stability, enforce the law, and maintain the security gains achieved throughout the capital.”
