Baghdad: The Federal Police Command announced on Saturday the arrest of 147 individuals violating residency regulations and three suspects in Baghdad.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Fifth Federal Police Division conducted a security operation and search, resulting in the arrest of 147 foreign workers who were found to be in violation of residency regulations. Additionally, three suspects were arrested under charges related to Article 28, concerning drugs, and Article 443, concerning theft.
The operation further led to the confiscation of an unregistered Land Cruiser, alongside an assortment of weapons, ammunition, and binoculars. The Federal Police Command emphasized that these proactive operations are part of ongoing efforts to address criminal activities that threaten the security and stability of Baghdad.
