Baghdad: The head of the Reconstruction and Development Bloc, Bahaa al-Araji, emphasized that renewing Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani's term is essential to safeguard Iraq. Al-Araji highlighted the critical importance of stabilizing Iraq's security and keeping the nation away from conflict zones, asserting that this requires a unified stance at a significant juncture.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji expressed on his "X" account that resolving to renew al-Sudani's term has become an urgent necessity due to the rapidly evolving situation in the country. He emphasized respect for the opposing minority's opinions but urged them to follow the decisions of the leaders of the Coordination Framework, who he described as the overarching umbrella. Al-Araji called for an end to media posturing, which he claimed is being exploited by certain parties to achieve questionable objectives that could harm state interests.
