Hillah: A bakery worker died and two others were injured in a fire that broke out at a bakery in the Jableh district, north of Hillah. The incident occurred on Tuesday and was reportedly caused by a gas cylinder explosion.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah confirmed that the fire resulted from a gas cylinder explosion at the bakery. The tragic incident led to the death of one bakery worker, while two others sustained injuries.

Abdullah stated that the police have transferred the deceased’s body to the forensic medicine department. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been initiated to determine the exact cause and prevent future occurrences.
