Erbil: President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani engaged in discussions today with Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, focusing on the intricate relations between Baghdad and Erbil and the broader situation in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Kurdistan Region Presidency issued a statement highlighting that both leaders reviewed the progress and results of the parliamentary elections within the Kurdistan Region.

The statement further detailed that Barzani and al-Hakim shared their perspectives on the current state of relations between Erbil and Baghdad and the overall regional situation. They emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing dialogue between the two cities to foster a better understanding and cooperation.
