Tehran: President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, emphasized the need for peaceful solutions to the Kurdish issue, highlighting the importance of dialogue over bloodshed. Speaking at the Tehran Dialogue Forum, Barzani underlined the region's commitment to non-interference in the affairs of other countries while expressing readiness to assist Turkey in addressing the PKK issue.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barzani reiterated the Kurdistan Region's willingness to play a constructive role in reducing tensions and resolving disputes between Turkey and the PKK. He stated that such efforts would contribute to regional stability and serve the interests of the people.
The Kurdistan Workers' Party has reportedly "dissolved its organizational structure, ended the armed struggle with Turkey, and concluded its previous activities."
