Basra: The head of the Basra Provincial Council, Khalaf al-Badran, has declared that the council will not remain passive in response to the recent incident involving Iraqi fishermen. According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Badran assured during a meeting with Iraqi fishermen and their families that the council is actively monitoring the situation.
