Basra: The prices of Basra Medium and Heavy crude oils rose during trading in the global market. Basra Medium crude oil rose to $65.85 per barrel, while Basra Heavy crude oil recorded a change of +0.76 for both.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, global oil prices increased in early trading on Monday following discussions between US and Chinese economic officials. The officials outlined a framework for a trade agreement between the two sides, which has eased concerns that tariffs and export restrictions between the world’s largest oil consumers could impact global economic growth.
