Basra Crude Oil Records Weekly Losses Amidst the Decline in Global Oil Prices

Basra: Basra Heavy and Medium crude oil recorded weekly losses during last week's trading, coinciding with the decline in global oil prices. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra Heavy crude closed in the last trading session yesterday, Friday, down 98 cents to $63.21 per barrel, recording a weekly loss of $5.03, or 7.96%. Basra Medium crude oil also saw a decline, closing down 98 cents to $64.76 per barrel, with a weekly loss of $5.02, or 7.75%. The drop in prices reflects broader trends in the global oil market, suggesting a challenging period for the industry.
