Basra: Basra crude “heavy and medium” recorded gains during the past week. Basra heavy crude closed in its last session yesterday, Friday, up 30 cents to reach $76.21, and recorded weekly gains of 1.68 cents, equivalent to 2.25%. While Basra medium crude closed in its last session also up 30 cents to reach $79.26, and recorded weekly gains of $1.68, or 2.17%.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brent crude recorded a weekly increase of 0.4%, while West Texas Intermediate crude recorded gains of about 0.5%.
