Basra: Deputy Governor of Basra, Maher Al-Amiri, engaged in discussions with UNICEF representatives and a delegation from the Ministry of Education regarding the development of the education sector in the governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Deputy Governor’s office announced that Al-Amiri convened a meeting with the Education Sector Development Committee. The focus of the meeting was to address the needs of schools in Basra. Present at the meeting were the Director of the Planning Department at the Ministry of Education and representatives from UNICEF, all aiming to improve the educational and pedagogical environment in the region.
