Basra Light Crude falls and records the lowest prices in OPEC

Baghdad The price of Basra Light crude decreased, on Wednesday, to record the lowest prices in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

Basra crude, exported to Asia, decreased by $0.54, with a change rate of 0.65%, to reach $81.93.

Basra Light crude recorded the lowest prices in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, as Saudi Arabian crude recorded $82.17 a barrel, UAE Murban blend $83.30 a barrel, Algeria’s Sahran blend $83.08, Angolan Girasole $82.97, and Nigeria’s Bonny Light $82.80.

Today, oil prices fell slightly at a time when the world is witnessing a shortage of energy and a rise in gas prices, which made countries turn to oil as an alternative to operate electric stations.
